I’m Amy Chandik Kundinger, De Pere City Council – District 1 Alderperson.

An active resident, I am in my fourth year as one of two De Pere District 1 alderperson – serving on the Finance/Personnel Committee and the Board of Park Commissioners. Prior to my role as a De Pere Alderperson, I served three years on the Plan Commission and on the Strategic Visioning & Branding Committee. For over five years, I was a board member on the De Pere Chamber of Commerce and now partner with the Economic Development Committee for events such as the annual De Pere Business Walk.
I work at St. Norbert College as the Director of Business & Community Engagement where I enjoy bringing area businesses and the college together in mutually beneficial collaborations. Examples of the work my team does include the popular CEO Breakfast Series, Knights on the Fox, and the Center for Business & Economic Analysis annual State of the Economy address. In 2018, I launched the annual State of De Pere luncheon, held on St. Norbert’s campus featuring then Mayor Mike Walsh. I continue to manage State of De Pere, featuring Mayor James Boyd, and led the 5th consecutive event in January 2023.
During my time with the De Pere Chamber of Commerce, we created and implemented the first De Pere Business Walk. I have participated in the annual event since its conception (held annually, this event gathers information from De Pere businesses so that the Chamber, Definitely De Pere and the City can best support area businesses.) My professional and volunteer efforts regularly partner with organizations like the New North, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, and The Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce for community events and talent pipeline development.
I love living in De Pere. Even more, I love District 1. The schools, parks, restaurants, and shops all make this neighborhood the perfect fit for us, and we can’t imagine living anywhere else.
De Pere City Council has representation from a citizen who is deeply invested in our community. Someone who is a parent with kids in our schools. Someone who works in De Pere. Someone who is honored to represent you.
With gratitude,

Amy Chandik Kundinger
